Working with Children Check
The Working with Children Check (WWCC) is a requirement for anyone who works or volunteers in child-related work in NSW. All employees at Thrive Sports over the age of 18 have completed a WWCC, a National Police Check and a review of reportable workplace misconduct.
Medication and Health Conditions
There will be a First Aid support person allocated at each event. Thrive Sports will obtain health care plans before the event and monitor medication in accordance with the medication policy as specified by NSW Regulations.
Coaches will be vigilant and responsive to specific health concerns of children under our care, particularly regarding medical and dietary requirements.
Caring for Children
Our coaches comply with local, state, and national laws governing child protection, including obligations related to reportable conduct and mandatory reporting.
We ensure appropriate supervision of children, as defined by the Education and Care National Laws and Regulations.
We act in the best interests of children and avoid unnecessary or potentially harmful physical contact, unless it is necessary for their safety and well-being.
We respect children's rights, backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.

Our coaches exercise caution during sports and game activities to prevent potential harm or injury, taking into consideration the child's age, development, and any illnesses, injuries, or special needs that may pose risks. Please refer to risk assessments for each sport.
